Tim Hofmann joined the Florida State public relations staff in 2021 and was promoted to his current role of assistant public relations director in 2023. He currently is the primary media contact for softball and volleyball.
Hofmann has led public relation and social media efforts for five ACC Championship teams and the 2023 women's soccer National Championship team. Hofmann has led the promotional efforts for a National Player of the Year award, three ACC Coach of the Year awards for Lonni Alameda, two ACC Pitcher of the Year awards, an ACC Player of the Year award and an ACC Defensive Player of the Year award.
Hofmann originally handled all media, content and social media responsibilities for FSU's men's and women's track and field programs.
Before arriving at FSU, Hofmann spent time at New Mexico State as a media relations intern for the Aggies. Hofmann handled duties for softball, women’s soccer, track and field/cross country and men’s golf. Hofmann oversaw two WAC Championship teams as the softball and men’s golf programs each took home titles during his tenure.
Hofmann spent a year and a half in the communications department as a student worker at the University of Nebraska where he oversaw the men’s golf team. The Sutton, Nebraska, native earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021.
