Alex Eleyssami has been with the Florida State football program since 2018 and is in his fifth season on the coaching staff in 2025. Eleyssami currently serves as a graduate assistant working with the offense and focusing on running backs after previously working with the Seminole quarterbacks.

Eleyssami was a Florida State quarterback from 2018-20, working with the scout team. He has been on Mike Norvell's staff since his playing career ended and currently works with FSU running backs and running back coach David Johnson.

Eleyssami graduated from Florida State in 2022 with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. He earned his master's degree in athletic coaching in fall 2024 and is currently pursuing his second master's from Florida State.
