Chris Rinebold, CSFM was hired as the Superintendent of Athletic Fields in August 2024 and enters his second season with Florida State Athletics in 2025. In his role, Rinebold oversees the management for each of the varsity athletic fields. Prior to Florida State, Rinebold served as the Director of Athletic Grounds and Turf Management at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

A native of South Carolina, Rinebold earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass from Clemson University. He also earned his Certified Sports Field Manager (CSFM) recognition in December 2023. Rinebold currently lives in Tallahassee with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Cash and Charley.
