Kate Finkelstein is in her first year as a Public Relations Assistant with Florida State Athletics. She serves as the primary media contact for the Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving teams.
Finkelstein began working with the public relations department as an intern in August 2024. She served as the lead intern for FSU Baseball’s 2025 season, managing in-game social media coverage, while also assisting with media relations across other sports.
Outside of athletics, Finkelstein is the Public Relations Director for the Epsilon Zeta chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma and is Chief Anchor for V89 Sports at WVFS Tallahassee. She also previously contributed as a sports writer for the FSView & Florida Flambeau.
Finkelstein is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Media/Communication Studies and Sport Management from Florida State University and is expected to graduate in May 2026.
