Lance Cook joined Florida State University’s Creative Services department in March 2024 and serves as the Creative Director of Unconquered Media. In this role, he leads the creative vision and execution of content across the majority of Florida State’s athletic programs, managing a team of seven full-time professionals and mentoring a student staff of more than 20. He also serves as Director of FSU Football’s docuseries The CLIMB and social media manager for FSU Men’s Basketball.
Lance oversees the production of more than 1,000 videos annually, ranging from long-form storytelling and in-venue hype content to recruiting materials and social media campaigns. Under his leadership, Unconquered Media was established by merging multiple creative units into a centralized brand, now responsible for photography, videography, graphic design, and content strategy for the majority of our varsity sports.
He also manages FSU’s YouTube channel and Seminoles Unconquered Streaming app, overseeing content planning, publishing, and performance optimization. Lance leads content capture and production for all home and away Football and Men’s Basketball games, in addition to livestreams, media days, and special events.
Prior to Florida State, Lance worked at Texas A&M University, contributing to both athletics and public broadcasting. His creative foundation is rooted in storytelling—especially in capturing pivotal moments in live sports and amplifying the narratives that define teams, athletes, and the culture around them.
Lance holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications and an Undergraduate Certificate in Social Media from Texas A&M University.
