Nicholson is in his first year in 2025 as the Director of Equipment for Florida State. Nicholson handles all equipment duties for volleyball, beach volleyball, track and field and cross country. 

Nicholson has been with the Seminoles for a couple of years as he was a GA Equipment Manager in 2023 and 2024 for the volleyball, beach volleyball, baseball, track and field and cross country teams. Nicholson also served on the grounds crew for baseball, softball and football in the spring of 2023. 

Nicholson graduated from Florida State with a bachelors degree in sport management in 2024 and a masters in sport management in May 2025. Nicholson also earned an associate in arts from Tallahassee State College in 2022.
