Greensboro, NC – Following one of the most successful seasons in the history of the program, the accolades continue to roll in for the FSU women’s tennis team. Four Seminoles were named to the All-ACC Academic team. Nandini Das, Andrea Garcia, Giulia Pairone and Emmanuelle Salas were each named to the prestigious list, which is based on academic and athletic achievements.
This is the third time that Garcia has been named an All-ACC Academic Team selection. The R-SR received All-America honors for the first time in her career in 2021 and was on the Dean’s List in the fall of 2020. This is the second time on the All-ACC Academic Team for Salas, who also earned the honor in 2019.
Both Das and Pairone were selected for the first time in their careers. Both earned All-America honors in 2021. Pairone was the Seminoles’ only All-American in singles and Das paired with Garcia to advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals in the doubles championships. Overall, the FSU women’s tennis team posted a GPA of 3.657 in the spring while advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals and finishing ranked seventh in the nation.
