FSU’S GALLOVITS AND SISTER PLAY IN QUARTERFINALS MATCH OF USTA TOURNAMAENT

TALLAHASSEE, FLA.,– Current FSU’s No. 1 women’s tennis player Alida Gallovits played in the quarterfinals doubles match Friday with younger sister Edina Gallovits of Romania. The tandem faced and fell to Chantal Coombs of Great Britain and Eva Erbova of Czechoslovakia 7-5, 1-6, 6-0.
The tournament will continue Saturday January 13th. The single’s semifinals are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and the doubles final will begin approximately thirty minutes after the second semifinal match is over. Admission to the Scott Speicher Tennis Center is $5.00
