FSU Opens Home Schedule Against Old Dominion

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's tennis team opens the home portion of its 2024 season Tuesday against Old Dominion at the FSU Indoor Tennis Facility.
The Seminoles return six individuals with Vic Allen, Ellie Schoppe, Anna Arkadianou, Cade Cricchio, Kristyna Lavickova, and Millie Bissett all coming back to build off a successful 2023 campaign.
Florida State adds four new faces as Maelie Monfils, Laura Putz, Eva Shaw, and Chiara Di Genova enter their first season.
The Seminoles are coming off a 17-win season and finished 24th in the 2023 final ITA rankings. The team saw a multitude of accomplishments as they advanced to the ACC Quarterfinals for the 26th time, was selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the sixth consecutive season.
Head coach Jennifer Hyde is in her 20th season and deputy head coach Mark Ardizzone is in his fifth season with the Seminoles.
Old Dominion is coming off a 19-win season in 2023. The Lions are led by graduate student Alexandra Viktorvitch. Viktorvitch accumulated 15 singles and nine doubles wins in the 2023 season.
