Noles Head to Gainesville to Face No. 8 Florida

TALLAHASSEE – Undefeated Florida State puts its 14-0 record on the line Tuesday when it faces No. 8 Florida at Condron Family Ballpark in Gainesville. The game will air on SEC Network. Fans in Tallahassee can listen on WFLA 100.7 FM or around the country on the FSU Gameday app.

Senior Andrew Armstrong will start for the Seminoles, making his second start of the year and fourth of his career. He is 2-0 on the season and has yet to allow a run over 4.1 innings pitched.
Florida State is one of two remaining undefeated teams in the country. FSU is ranked in four of five polls, topping out at No. 19 in the Perfect Game and NCBWA polls. FSU's 14-0 start is its best since 2018 and tied for the fourth-best start in program history.
The Gators are the first ranked opponent FSU will play this year. FSU is 4-0 away from Tallahassee this season, winning at Jacksonville and sweeping the First Pitch Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina, against Illinois, Michigan State and Western Michigan.
After the Florida game, FSU returns home Friday to begin ACC play against Notre Dame.
