No. 10 FSU Hosts No. 24 Florida

TALLAHASSEE – No. 10 Florida State jumped in all five polls Monday after a series win at Boston College, and the Noles will host No. 24 Florida Tuesday evening at Dick Howser Stadium. The game will air on ESPN2 with first pitch at 7:00 p.m.

Florida State has won both games against Florida this season, beating the Gators 12-8 in Gainesville and 14-3 in eight innings in Jacksonville. FSU has won the regular-season series for the first time since 2015.
First baseman Daniel Cantu is 6-for-7 in two games this year vs. Florida, including five RBI in the Jacksonville romp. Second baseman Drew Faurot also had five RBI in Jacksonville, on a pair of home runs, including a grand slam.
Abraham set career highs with 3.1 scoreless innings and five strikeouts against the Gators on March 26.
Among the festivities at Howser on Tuesday night, the Marching Chiefs will perform beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the right field bleachers and remain throughout the game. Florida State baseball alumni Devon Travis will be on the call for ESPN2, serving in his second year calling games for the network.
