Katie Rybakova To be Inducted In Florida State’s Athletics Hall of Fame

TALLAHASSEE – Former Seminole Katie Rybakova will be inducted into the Florida State's Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday and celebrated during Saturday's football game.
Rybakova is one of seven inductees in the 2024 class. This class includes many notable athletes such as Anquan Boldin, Lamarcus Joyner, Casey Hunter, Philip Riley, Ryan Barthelemy, and athletic administrator Bernie Waxman.
Rybakova shined for the Seminoles from 2008 to 2011. In her four seasons at Florida State, Rybakova earned 174 total victories and four ACC All-Conference recognotions. She is ranked eighth in school history in total wins, second in singles wins with 103 and 16th in doubles victories with 71.
The Coral Springs, Florida, native was ranked 16th in the singles and 33rd in the national doubles rankings as true freshman in 2008. Rybakova went on to earn at least 10 wins in singles doubles each of her four seasons with the Seminoles.
Rybakova's legacy and impact to the women's tennis program will be honored this Friday in the ballroom of the university center club and on the football field on Saturday against Memphis.
