Noles Head to Gainesville to Face Florida on Thursday

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (3-2) will travel to Gainesville to face Florida (4-1) on Thursday at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center at 6:30 p.m.

Florida State trails Florida in the all-time series 41-45, but the Seminoles have won the previous three meetings and 11 of the last 13.Â

The game will air on the SEC Network, with Sam Gore and Debbie Antonelli on the call. The Seminole Sport Network, featuring Melissa Bruner and Jack Kavovit will air on 96.5 The Spear and Sirius XM, channel 371.

Florida State fell to Indiana 76-72 on Sunday in a back-and-forth contest with three Seminoles contributing double figures.

Senior guard Sydney Bowles led the effort with 19 points, while junior guard Jasmine Shavers added 16 points and junior center Pania Davis added 12 points. Davis and Avery Treadwell led the team on the boards, grabbing seven each.
