Noles Continue ACC Play Thursday by Hosting Virginia Tech

TALLAHASSEE -Â The Florida State women's basketball team (4-8, 0-1 ACC) will return to ACC play on Thursday by hosting Virginia Tech (9-3, 0-1 ACC) at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Thursday's contest will serve as Throwback Thursday, and fans are encouraged to wear vintage Florida State gear.
The Seminoles are 32-12 against the Hokies in the series, winning the last two meetings.

Florida State is one of eight teams nationally to have six players averaging 9.0 points per game, led by Solè Williams, who is averaging 15.5 points per game, ranking fifth in the ACC. Williams sits third in the conference with 171 points scored this season.

In the last four games, Emma Risch has come on strong, averaging 13.3 points per game. Coming off the bench in three of the last four, Risch is 11-of-23 from behind the arc, converting 47.8 percent.

Risch has climbed the ranks in three-point shooting percentage this season, where she sits second in the ACC at 43.9 percent. Florida State leads the ACC in three-pointers per game (9.0).

Avery Treadwell led on the boards, securing a career best of nine. Â Treadwell was a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, tying her career best of five field goals made. Jasmine Shavers scored 12 and Williams added 10.
