TALLAHASSEE - Florida State volleyball's Iane Henke earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention on Wednesday afternoon. This is the third-consecutive season that FSU has had a player named an AVCA All-American or AVCA All-America Honorable Mention.

Henke put together one of the most successful seasons in FSU history as the senior from Ulm, Germany, finished her career with a bang. Henke finished second in school history in points per set in school history and finished third in school history in kills per set. Henke earned Second Team All-ACC honors as well as AVCA First Team All-Region honors.

Henke had a couple of the top individual performances in FSU history at some points during this season. In the four matches against North Florida, USF, South Carolina and Oklahoma, Henke tallied 15 or more kills in all four of those matches while hitting over .300 in all those matches. Henke is the first FSU player since Norisha Campbell in 2001 to accomplish that feat. Henke recorded 20 or more kills in four consecutive matches against Clemson, Georgia Tech, Cal and Virginia. Henke is the first player in program history to have 20 or more kills in four consecutive matches in the rally scoring era. Henke was also drafted by the Orlando Valkyries 24th overall in the MLV Draft.
