Noles Host Georgia for ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (4-5) will host Georgia (9-0) on Wednesday in the ACC/SEC Challenge at 5 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

The Seminoles will look for its first win in program history over the Bulldogs on Wednesday night and first in the ACC/SEC Challenge, as Georgia brings a 9-0 start to Tallahassee.

FSU is one of 29 programs in country that have five players averaging at least 9.0 points per game, led by Sole Williams, who averages 17.4 points per game and has the second highest average in the ACC. 
 
The game will air on ESPNU with Angel Gray and Kelly Gramlich on the call. The Seminole Sport Network, featuring Jack Kavovit on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app. 

The first 250 fans will receive a $5.00 concession voucher at the door and the first 100 students will receive a free t-shirt. 
 
The Last Time Out
The Noles set the program record with 19 three-pointers made, but fell 109-91 to No. 9/8 Oklahoma in the final of the Great Egret Division at the GEICO Coconut Hoops. The record was the most by a team in the country this season and most ever against an AP top 10 opponent.
 
Five Seminoles scored in double figures, with graduate forward Allie Kubek, junior guard Sole Williams, and junior center Pania Davis tying for a team-leading six rebounds.
 
Williams was named to the All-Tournament Team following 15 points against OU, adding six rebounds and five assists. Williams also led the team against Missouri State with 21 points and four rebounds.
 
Junior guard Emma Risch scored a season-high 16 points, while senior guard Sydney Bowles tied her career-high with six threes.
