Noles Open ACC Play on Sunday vs. No.18/19 Notre Dame

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (4-6) will host No. 18/19 Notre Dame on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center to open ACC play.
 
Notre Dame holds the series lead at 13-3, however the Seminoles picked up the first win in program history at the Joyce Center last season after defeating the Irish 86-81 on Feb. 27.
 
The Seminoles are one of 25 teams nationally to have five players averaging at least 9.0 points per game, led by Solè Williams, who is averaging 16.9. Williams ranks third in the ACC in scoring average and in three-pointers made with 24.
 
Fans are encouraged to wear white, and T-shirts will be given out at the door while supplies last.
 
Coverage will air on the ACC Network Extra with Shawn Davison and Melissa Bruner. The Seminole Sport Network will air on 96.5 The Spear with Jack Kavovit and Bob Thomas on the call.
 
The Last Time Out
Florida State fell to Georgia in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday at home, 80-60. FSU had three players score in double figures, led by Williams with 13 points. She also dished a season-high seven assists.
 
Pania Davis led on the boards, securing nine rebounds. She also added nine points and two blocks.  She leads the team with 15 blocks this season and ranks fourth in the ACC.
