Noles Set for Watersound Invitational

TALLAHASSEE -  The Florida State men's golf team will start the spring season hosting the Watersound Invitational, starting Monday at the Sharks Tooth Golf Course in Lake Powell, Florida.  
 
The tournament will host some of the nation's top golfers from February 17-19. The Seminoles will field four players ranked in the top 100 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings, led by No. 1 Luke ClantonGray Albright, who also ranks 19th in the PGA TOUR University rankings, is listed 33rd, ahead of Jack Bigham in 38th. Tyler Weaver rounds out the four, ranked 62nd.

In 2024, the Seminoles finished second at the Watersound, led by Albright who won by one stroke to finish 10-under as FSU shot 20-under as a team.
 
This season, Albright bested Bigham to win the Jones Cup in a playoff hole in January, while Clanton has played in three PGA TOUR events, securing a 
 
The first round will start between 10-12 p.m. on Monday. FSU will celebrate Seminole Heritage on Tuesday.
