SERIES HISTORY VS. NORTH FLORIDA
The Seminoles own a 12-4 all-time mark against North Florida, including an 11-2 advantage in Tallahassee. The series opened in 2006 with a 14-8 win, and three more victories followed. Florida State's last loss at home was a 7-4 defeat in 2021, and UNF also posted a 15-14 win in Jacksonville in 2023. FSU has won three of the last four.

One year ago, on April 23, Florida State posted a 10-2 home win. Max Williams had two hits while John Abraham earned the win with 3.0 innings in relief.

SERIES HISTORY VS. BETHUNE-COOKMAN
Florida State is 8-0 all-time against Bethune-Cookman, with all eight games coming at Dick Howser Stadium. The first five meetings all took place in the NCAA Regional, beginning with a 6-3 win in 2000. The last time the two teams met in the postseason was a 6-5 triumph in 2011. In the regular season, FSU began with a 17-9 win in 2022, followed by a 10-1 triumph in 2023.

Last season, the Seminoles were victorious 5-2 on April 3. Williams had a game-tying single in the third inning before a go-ahead home run in the fifth to break a 2-2 game. Abraham got the start while Hudson Rowan and Connor Hults added shutout relief appearances.

SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
North Florida is 7-5 on the year after a series loss to Ball State last weekend. The Ospreys won the finale, 6-5, which snapped a three-game losing streak. UNF opened the year with a series defeat to Notre Dame and also have a 7-6 loss at then-No. 8 Florida.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Bethune-Cookman comes to Tallahassee with a 6-6 record following a series sweep of Maryland Eastern Shore. BC won the finale 30-5 after 7-2, 10-8 and 8-7 wins. The Wildcats have won four in a row and five of six but began the year by getting swept by Stony Brook. Wednesday's game will be BC's second road game in 2025.

UP NEXT: LAST NON-CONFERENCE HOME WEEKEND
Florida State will play its fourth and final non-conference series against Lipscomb from March 7-9 at Dick Howser Stadium. The three-game set begins on Friday, March 7, at 6 p.m. ET, followed by game two on Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. The series concludes on Sunday, March 9, at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: THIRD CONSECUTIVE SWEEP
FSU is coming off a weekend sweep of Georgetown in Tallahassee. The series began with a 7-2 victory on Friday night, as the Seminoles took an early 2-0 lead on a Lodise home run. GU tied it in the fifth before Florida State answered to regain the lead for good in the sixth. Seventh-inning insurance runs came after Martinez came in and stranded the bases loaded in the top half.

Volini led Florida State to an 11-2 win on Saturday, as he struck out 11 in 6.0 shutout innings. Williams and freshman first baseman Myles Bailey homered, the first long-ball of Bailey's career. Volini and four relievers limited the Hoyas to two runs on three hits.

The Seminoles completed the sweep with a 4-3 win on Sunday, as Bailey delivered the game-winning hit with an eighth-inning single. FSU scored two in the seventh to regain a 3-1 lead, and then retook the lead again in the eighth, 4-3. Florida State never trailed, but the game was tied after six innings for the first time in 2025. Sophomore reliever Peyton Prescott got the win with 1.1 no-hit innings to finish out the game.
