No. 9 Noles Set to Open 2025-26 at Folds of Honor

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State men's golf team members Patrick McCann, Carson Brewer, Wilmer Edero, Jack Bigham, and Jack Whaley will compete at the fourth annual Folds of Honor Collegiate from Sept. 8-10 at the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
The tournament is held in support of the Folds of Honor foundation, a nonprofit that provides scholarships for education to the families of fallen or injured service members. The Seminoles are one of 15 teams that will take the field in the 54-hole event.
The Seminoles will tee off at 12:27 p.m. on Monday and at 7:57 a.m. on Tuesday. FSU will be paired with Missouri and Air Force for both rounds.
Tyler Weaver, who is competing at the 50th Walker Cup for Team Great Britain and Ireland, is currently ranked 10th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, while Bigham is currently ranked 62nd with six top 10 finishes.
Brewer concluded 2025 qualifying for the U.S. Amateur after a season of 12 events with the Noles, assisting Florida State in a second place finish at the 2024 Folds of Honor Collegiate.
Whaley will be making his debut with Florida State after spending two seasons at Dalton State, where he was the 2025 NAIA champion. He also won the Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer awards.
The event will broadcast live and rebroadcast on Golf Channel, as well as simulcast on both Peacock and Golf Channel's digital platforms. Live scoring will run through Clippd.
