Florida State has begun the 2026 season at 5-0 with several key singles and doubles wins. No. 83 Mohammad Alkotop and Azariah Rusher have shown impressive doubles run together with a 4-0 overall record heading into Wednesday's matchups.

Transfer Gabriele Brancetelli won his first doubles match as a Seminole alongside Sebesta on Thursday over Leon Harder and Juan Die Rojas of the College of Charleston 6-1, before earning his first singles victory under Florida State against Rojas Mora in a 6-2, 6-2 win.
