TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State swimming and diving teams will host the Seminole Fall Classic at the Morcom Aquatics Center in Tallahassee from Oct. 9-10, marking the first competition of the 2026-27 season.
In anticipation of potential impacts related to Hurricane Isaias, Friday's start time has been moved from 7 p.m. ET to 11 a.m. The competition will continue as scheduled on Saturday at 10 a.m. The planned pre-meet tailgate for Friday has been canceled.
The first day of competition on Friday will be the annual Paint it Pink meet. The Noles will wear pink caps in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donations can be made directly to the Walker Breast Program at Tallahassee Memorial via Seminoles.com.
Purdue will travel to Tallahassee to face the No. 23-ranked FSU men, while Iowa State will be in town to face the FSU women, who received votes in the CSCAA preseason poll.
Both days will feature 10 men's and 10 women's swimming events, as well as 1-meter and 3-meter diving. Each team will be represented by 12 swimmers and three divers, with one scoring heat for each event.
A live stream of the meet will be available on the Seminoles Unconquered app, and live updates from the pool can be found by following and connecting with the Seminoles on Twitter/X, Instagram and Facebook.
Following the Seminole Fall Classic, the Noles will head to Atlanta to compete in the Dual Meet Tournament hosted by Georgia Tech from Oct. 16-17.
