Noles Set to Open Seminole Intercollegiate on Sunday

TALLAHASSEE- The Florida State men's golf team will host the Seminole Intercollegiate from March 15-17, welcoming 20 other teams.Â

After playing the 2025 tournament at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Georgia, The Seminole Intercollegiate returns to Seminole Legacy for the 49th annual event, dating back to 1970.

FSU finished first in 2023 and 2025 and placed second in 2024. Last season, the Noles were led by Luke Clanton, who battled to take the first place, finishing 15-under, 195. Wilmer Edero followed closely behind, taking the third-place spot, finishing 6-under, 204. FSU secured first place win with a final score of 817.

In early March, Tyler Weaver competed at Cabo Collegiate ending 3-under, 210 to place 11th out of 80 players overall. Patrick McCann finished with a solid even-par, 213 to keep the Noles team steady.

Weaver, Jack Bigham, Jack Whaley, Edero, and Carson Brewer will play this Sunday, while Drew Jones will play as an individual.

The first round will begin on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday will also begin play at 8:30 a.m.
