Seminoles Begin Homestand with Auburn, Louisiana

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State volleyball team (3-2) begins a six-match homestand Tuesday, hosting Auburn at 7 p.m. as part of the ACC-SEC Showdown at the Net. The Seminoles will then welcome Louisiana to Tully Gymnasium on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Florida State leads the all-time series against Auburn 18-5, including a 10-1 mark in Tallahassee. The Seminoles earned a 3-1 victory over the Tigers in their most recent meeting in Tully in 2025. Auburn enters Tuesday's matchup with a 3-2 record after dropping its two most recent matches to No. 11 Minnesota and No. 5 Wisconsin.
The Seminoles will meet the Ragin' Cajuns for just the second time in program history. Florida State won the first meeting, earning a 3-0 victory in Tallahassee in 2021. Louisiana enters the matchup with a 2-3 record recently defeating Southeastern Louisiana and falling to Memphis in five sets.
Florida State is coming off a 1-1 weekend at the LUV Invitational in Nashville, defeating No. 16 Kansas before falling to Lipscomb in four sets.
The Seminoles were taken to five sets for the second time in their first five matches and earned their first five-set victory since defeating Notre Dame on Nov. 16, 2025. The victory over Kansas also marked Florida State's first win over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 15 North Carolina at home on Nov. 21, 2025.
Senior outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua leads the Seminoles with 91 points, 75 kills and 12 aces while ranking second on the team with 59 digs. Filimaua recorded a season-high 23 kills against No. 16 Kansas and has posted three double-doubles through the first five matches.
Sophomore middle blocker Nenu Kpea leads Florida State with 22 blocks this season. She ranks fourth on the team with 48 kills and recorded a career-high 17 kills against No. 16 Kansas.
Junior setter Emma Lilo leads the Seminoles with 153 assists, averaging 6.95 assists per set.
Junior libero Maile Chan leads Florida State with 65 digs.
Tuesday's matchup against Auburn will be broadcast live on ACC Network, while Wednesday's match against Louisiana will stream on ACCNX. Live stats for both matches will be available on Seminoles.com.
