AS A JUNIOR (2023)
Helped lead the Seminoles to an appearance in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship tournament...earned a 22-9 record as she performed well with five different partners: Raelyn White (10-5), Morgan Chacon (4-0), Alexis Durish (4-1), Audrey Rothman (2-0) and Audrey Koenig (2-3) and courts three and four)...was victorious in her first six matches of the season with wins over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (with Chacon), Washington (with Chacon), FIU (with Chacon), South Carolina (with Chacon) as well as Grand Canyon (with Durish) and Stetson (with Durish)...her four wins with Chacon gave the pair an undefeated mark in the Seminole Beach Bash...Moon and Durish were 2-1 in the Tampa Invitational...enjoyed a pair of six match winning streaks – to begin the season from February 25 through March 4 – and from April 7 through April 15 with wins over Southern Miss (with Rothman), LSU (with Rothman), FAU (with Koenig), Long Beach State (with White), Southern Cal (with White) and Loyola Marymount (with White)...was 3-0 with one unfinished match in the Unconquered Invitational...was 3-1 in the Cal Poly Invitational...a 1-1 record (with Koenig) in the CCSA Tournament and a 0-1 record (with one unfinished match) (also with Koenig) in the NCAA Tournament.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Finished the season 19-8 overall after earning a consistent role in the starting lineup after the first third of the season…played with a collection of partners including Maddie Anderson, Jordan Polo, Jenna Johnson, and Anna Long before finding a fit with Raelyn White…White and Moon recorded a 14-6 record on courts four and five during the second half of the season…the pair earned CCSA All-Tournament Team with a 3-1 record during the tournament… defeated 14 top-25 teams, nine of which were against top-10 opponents… notable wins feature victories against No. 6 LSU (twice), No. 2 TCU (three times), No. 3 UCLA, and No. 5 LMU (twice).
 
AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Played in four exhibition matches and three dual matches during the 2021 season…earned a 1-2 with a 1-1 record on court one and an 0-1 record on court five… earned her first career win on court one with Alaina Chacon against Florida Gulf Coast...played with Alaina Chacon and Avery Poppinga.
 
ON MOON
A veteran upperclassmen for the Seminoles who is in her senior season...a member of two Coastal Collegiate Sports Association league championship teams (2021 and 2022) as well as three NCAA Tournament teams at Florida State...helped lead the Seminoles to a Runner-Up finish at the 2022 NCAA Tournament, the a semifinalist appearance in 2023 and to a tied for fifth place finish in 2021...enters her senior season with 42 wins, a 42-19 record and a .688 winning percentage...has earned 24 wins and a 24-11 record with teammate Raelyn White during the 2022 and 2023 seasons – tied for the 21st highest win total by any pair in school history… Graduated from Boerne Samuel V. Champion High School in 2021... played indoor volleyball her freshman year of high school and basketball her sophomore and junior years of high school…was an All-Academic selection as a basketball player in 2019...member of VolleyballMag.com’s first beach girls Fab 30…2018 Newcomer of the Year (basketball)…2019 First Team All-District (basketball)…2019 Offensive Player of the Year (basketball)…2019 All-Region Team (basketball)…2019 Varsity Co-Captain (basketball)…2016 14u AAU Nationals third place…2016 BVCA Nationals third place…2019 18u P1440 National Champion…2019 18u AAU Nationals third place…2019 USAV Nationals third place…2019 USA High Performance Championships third place…2019 AVP First National Championship second place…2019 A1 High Performance Team.

Born May 16, 2002...Caitlin is the daughter of Nancy and Randy Moon...her mom played college basketball at both Bradley University and the University of Missouri at St. Louis...she was also a graduate assistant coach for the women’s basketball team at UMSL...sister, Courtney, is a redshirt senior member of the beach volleyball team at FAU...major is Sport Management.
