Totaled 29 wins with 24 of her wins coming with Paige Kalkhoff...totaled four wins with Jordan Polo (during the fall season) and one with Cassie Anderson...her 24 wins with Kalkhoff is tied for the 19th highest total single-season wins total in school history...her victory over Kylie DeBerg and Ellie Shank of LSU in the NCAA Quarterfinals marked her 100th career dual match win...winning streaks of four matches on three separate occasions...season-best seven straight victories from April 1 through April 8 against UCLA, Loyola Marymount, Southern Miss, LSU, Loyola Marymount, FAU and Long Beach State...finished with a 3-3 mark in six matches as the Seminoles advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals...earned wins at the National Championship Finals against South Carolina, FUI and LSU...battled Maggie Boyd and Lexy Deneburg of UCLA in the national semifinals before falling, 22-18 and 24-22...totaled a 1-3 record on court one during the Unconquered Invitational in Tallahassee with her win coming against Long Beach State...please her final 27 matches of the season with Kalkhoff and totaled a 16-11 with three wins coming in postseason play.

Named CCSA Pair of the Week (March 23, 2022) and AVCA Pair of the Week (April 11, 2022) with Brook Bauer…named to the CCSA All-Academic Team, All-Conference Team and All-Tournament Team for the 2022 season...finished the 2022 season with a 31-12 record, notching 14 wins against top-10 ranked opponents.....competed with Brook Bauer for all but two matches during the season going 29-12 as a pair on court one and 1-0 on court two…finished the season with an AVCA First Team All-American honor with Bauer… ranked tied for fourth all-time at Florida State for career wins on court one with 30 wins…went on a nine-match winning streak (April 1-April 15) featuring wins against No. 10 FAU, No. 11 Georgia State, No. 5 LSU, No. 2 TCU, No. 15 FIU, No. 19 Stetson and No. 3 UCLA…most notable wins feature victories over No. 1/3 UCLA (three times), No. 2 TCU (three times), No. 4 LMU, and No. 6 LSU (five times).
 
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2021)
Was named a Volleyball Magazine Second Team All-American with Alaina Chacon…named to the CCSA Freshman Team…finished the 2021 second on the team in wins, after finishing with a 32-6 record…her 32 wins during the 2021 season are tied for the 19th best single-season wins total in school history...was 0-2 on court one, 6-0 on court two, 25-4 on court three and 1-0 on court four…won 23 matches to start the season while partnered with Sara Putt…was 23-3 on the season with Putt as a partner with a 1-0 record on court two and a 22-3 record on court three…went 4-1 with Liz Waters-Leiga, including a 3-1 record on court three and a 1-0 record on court four…ended the season paired with Alaina Chacon, going 5-2 together; 0-2 on court one and 5-0 on court two…was named the CCSA Pair of the Week on March 31 with Putt after going 4-0 against No. 17 Georgia State, No. 16 Stetson, No. 9 TCU and No. 15 South Carolina…went 21-6 on the season against ranked opponents with nine wins over top-10 teams…earned wins over No. 1 LSU, No. 10 TCU, No. 3 LSU, No. 9 TCU, No. 1 USC (twice), No. 7 TCU and No. 4 LSU (twice).
 
AS A FRESHMAN (2020)
Played in all 13 matches of the 2020 season, finished with a 12-1 record…her 12-1 record and .923 winning percentage is tied for the seventh-best single-season winning percentage in school history went 10-1 on court three and 2-0 on court two…started the season off paired with Kate Privett on court three…the two went 10-2 together with six wins over ranked teams, including No. 9 Stetson, No. 7 Cal Poly and No. 10 Grand Canyon…Anderson and Privett held their opponents to 10 or fewer points in a set six times and outscored their opposition by an average of 4.7 points per set in 11 matches…she capped off her season playing her final two matches with Madison Fitzpatrick on court two…the duo went 2-0 with wins over UNCW and North Florida.

A four-time All-American – Second-Team by Volleyball Magazine (2021), First-Team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (2022 and 2023), and Second-Team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (2024)...named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association All-Freshman team, to the CCSA All-Tournament team and as the CCSA Tournament MVP in 2021...earned All-CCSA All-Conference and All-Tournament honors in 2022…named to the College Sports Communicators At Large All-District Academic Team (2023)... named to the CCSA All-Conference and All-Tournament teams, and CCSA Pair of the Tournament in 2024…earned 36 CCSA victories in her career...second in school history with 123 career wins... her winning streak as a redshirt freshman of 25 consecutive matches as a true freshman in 2020 is the second longest winning streak in school history...the school record for consecutive wins is 26 by Jace Pardon during the 2014 season...her winning streak of 23 matches with partner Sara Putt during the 2021 season is the second longest winning streak by the same pair of partners in school history… A standout in both beach and indoor as a prep athlete...sister, Cassie, is a redshirt junior member of the Florida State Beach Volleyball team...Beach: 2019 AVCA First-Team High School All-American…won p1440 Nationals 18U 2019…placed 3rd AAU Nationals 2019…first place Ft. Lauderdale Open with teammate Kate Privet…first place in Texas AVP 18U…won BVCA’s 2018 and 2nd place AAU Junior Olympics 2018…1st place Women’s open event in Florida with FSU Alumni Aurora Davis  2018…2nd place Manhattan Beach Open 2018…four 1st place Cal Cup tour stops in 2018…number one ranked 18U player in CBVA rankings 2019 with 8886 points…two 2nd place finishes in Florida Women’s open with fellow FSU ‘20 recruit Raelyn White…took 3rd in prestigious Cal Cup event with sister Nole 2016…Anderson completed a Junior Beach volleyball career with 78 USAV events with first place finishes in 37 of those events and top 3 finishes in 62 of those events…she claimed two 1st place finishes at the USAV Beach Wars in Gulf Shores…first place in the USAV JBT National Championship in 14U in Milwaukee, WI…earned AAA California rating at age 15…first place AVP First Championships 2019.  Indoor:  Played all the way around for the 2015 2A State Champions (with Lake Worth Christian) and the 2017 9A State Runners-Up (with Palm Beach Gardens) – first 9A state title game in school history…had 330 kills, 36 aces, 92 blocks and 214 digs…Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week (Nov. 13, 2017)…Esmark High School All American 2018…All area player of the year- Palm Beach County Fall 2017…Palm Beach Post Large-Schools Player of the Year in 2017…Sun Sentinel Palm Beach 9A-6A girls volleyball player of the year…six-year club team captain Palm Beach Juniors with 4 trips to Junior Olympics.
 
PERSONAL
Born December 26, 2001… Maddie is the daughter of Dr. Marianne May and Dr. William Anderson…has four siblings Emmy, Erik, Jared, & Cassie (also played beach volleyball at Florida State)… mother played indoor volleyball and softball at Northwestern University and played beach for 15 years after college… graduated high school on the Honor Roll…earned probability & statistics Honors Excellence Award and US History Honors Excellence Award…traveled throughout the country for six months playing beach tournaments in the Midwest, Southeast, and California while home schooling on the road… home schooled for 6 years and graduated high school two years early...took a gap year to travel the world, work, learn, and grow...graduated from Florida State with a bachelor’s degree in Finance in the spring of 2023...currently working on an MBA from Florida State with an expected Master’s Degree completion date in the summer of 2024.
