Started and played 36 games (35 in center field), hitting .287 with 41 hits, four doubles, a triple and two home runs…scored 26 runs and 17 RBI…fourth on the team in runs despite missing 18 games due to injury…drew 16 walks and was hit by a pitch…stole a team-high five bases…had three hits, three runs, three RBI and two stolen bases in FSU debut on Opening Day against James Madison (2/17)…first Nole since 2009 and just the 19th in school history with that stat line…ended freshman season on 12-game hitting streak, the 11th-longest for a freshman in program history and longest since DJ Stewart’s 17-game stretch in 2013…added three hits and three runs against Jacksonville (5/9), including the game-winning RBI and a leadoff home run…four three-hit games…triple against Mercer (5/6)…first career home run came at Notre Dame (4/30), a three-run blast…first freshman to start in center field since 2017…outfield assist against Clemson (4/7).

Graduated from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida…ranked the No. 69 prospect in Florida and No. 436 nationally by Perfect Game…batted .489 with 15 extra-base hits and scored 47 runs during senior season…selected as one of 44 African-American players for the Hank Aaron Invitational Game in Truist Park in 2021…2022 Florida Today Player of the Year…All-Cape Coast Conference every year of high school…dad is Keith Ross, who played baseball at Norfolk State and spent 10 seasons in Japan and Korea playing professional baseball…sister Jadia…majoring in sport management…born on January 27, 2003 in Yokosuka, Japan.
