Seiler Griffin is in his first season as a graduate assistant and in his third season overall with the Florida State baseball program in 2025-26. Following a high school and collegiate baseball career as a catcher and first baseman, Griffin was a student manager and bullpen catcher for the Seminoles for two years before graduating from FSU in 2025.
 
In his role as a graduate assistant, Griffin assists with day-to-day logistics, player development and FSU baseball camps, in addition to continuing his responsibilities in the bullpen.
 
In two years as a student manager with the Seminoles’ baseball program beginning in the fall of 2023, Griffin assisted with practices along with serving as the bullpen catcher.
 
Griffin graduated from Florida State in the spring of 2025 with an undergraduate degree from the School of Interdisciplinary Social Science with a specialization in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He is currently pursuing a masters in entrepreneurship from the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship.
 
As a player, Griffin was a catcher and first baseman at Florida Southern College in 2021. He played at Tallahassee State College in 2022 and 2023 under coach Mike McLeod.
 
From Tallahassee, Florida, Griffin attended Chiles High School and graduated in 2020. His parents are Jeff and Callie and he has one brother, Casey. Griffin’s parents are both Florida State graduates, as his father received a masters degree in industrial engineering and his mother earned her undergraduate degree in child development. Griffin’s FSU ties also include his grandfather, who got his PhD from FSU, and his aunts and uncles, who join him as Florida State graduates.
