2015:
Finished the season 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 15 relief appearances…struck out 11 batters in 14.0 innings…did not allow an earned run in his first six appearances…made his first appearance for the ‘Noles during the opening weekend against Oakland (2/14), allowing two hits in an inning of work…pitched in all three games against Georgia (2/20-21), allowing only one hit over three games while earning his first career win in FSU’s 7-5 Friday night win…tallied his second win of the year against UNC Wilmington (3/1), pitching two innings of two-hit ball…struck out two batters three times on the season, including against Wake Forest (3/13), at Virginia (3/22), and at Virginia Tech (3/27).
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from the Tiftarea Academy in Chula, Ga….went 6-2 with 80 strikeouts and a 1.39 ERA his senior season while being named First Team All-State…also named First Team All-Region and was a Senior All- Star…helped lead Tiftarea to the Class AAA state finals…was a four-year Honor Roll student…in addition to baseball, played four years of basketball, two years of football, and ran track for three seasons for the Panthers.
