2021

Outdoor T&F: Opened his outdoor season at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic finishing 12th in the 800 (1:54.86)…placed 9th in the 1500 (3:57.92) at FSU Relays…at UF Tom Jones Invitational he finished 16th in the 1500 (3:53.12)…recorded a personal best time of 3:50.82 in the 1500 at the North Florida Invite and finished 38th in the 800 (1:59.42).

2019-20

Cross Country: Was injured in the preseason and unable to compete.

 

2018-19

Cross Country: Redshirted, training through his first semester at FSU while building his distance base. Indoor: toed the starting line in four meets, including the ACC Championships…debuted at Orange & Purple Elite in the 1000-meter run (2:29.37) in his first race indoors and at that distance…posted a season-best 1:54.52 800 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, just off his high school PB in the open race…ran the 800 leg on the ninth-place DMR at the ACC Championships and also competed in the mile prelims. Outdoor: Redshirted but competed unattached in the 800 at the FSU Relays and 1500 at the Florida Relays (3:59).

Personal

Captained the Lincoln cross country and track & field teams as a senior, when he recorded PBs of 1:54.01 (800) and 4:17.88 (1600)…anchored Florida’s fastest 4×800 team (7:47.23), which led the nation throughout much of the season…finished sixth in the 800 and third in the 4×800 at the 3A state championship meet, after winning Region 1 titles in both events…2017 4×800 team was also third in state…qualified for the Florida 3A State Cross Country Championships for the first time as a senior…graduated from Lincoln Magna Cum Laude with a weighted 4.35 GPA…earned Florida Bright Future gold medallion status…majoring in mechanical engineering at FSU…is the son of Tony and Renee Carlson…born April 17, 2000.
