Sophomore (2025)
Opened the season with two home runs in the season opener against Oklahoma State at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge (2/6)... Had two RBIs, five runs, and six hits as the Noles finished 4-0 at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational (2/13-2/16)... Had two RBIs, six hits, and drove in five runs during the JoAnne Graf Classic (2/20-2/22)... Led the team with 14 RBI on six hits, and had three home runs over the course of the Dugout Club Classic (2/27-3/1)... Had two hits and one RBI over the weekend against Jacksonville and North Florida (3/5)... Logged her sixth home run of the season, in addition to three hits, two runs, and one RBI against Oregon and Oregon State over the weekend in the Jane Sanders Classic (3/7-3/9)... Had six hits, four runs, one RBI, and one home run in a doubleheader against Portland State (3/11)... Recorded a home run in back-to-back games against Pitt in a weekend series, in addition to five hits, four runs, and four RBIs (3/14-3/15)... At Alabama, contributed one hit (3/19)... Hit her 10th home run of the season during the weekend series at Duke, as well as having four hits, five RBIs, three runs and hits (3/21-3/23)... Walked in the game against Stetson (3/26)... In a weekend series against NC State, had a total of two hits, runs, RBIs, and doubles (3/28-3/30)... Contributed one run against Florida (4/2)... In a weekend series against Virginia, racked in five runs, two hits, and a successfully stolen base (4/4-4/6)... In a weekend series against California, collected five RBIs, two hits, and one run, in addition to a home run and her 10th double of the season (4/11-4/13)...
Freshman (2024)
Finished the season leading the team in batting average (.417), hits (78), home runs (16), RBI (66) and on-base percentage (.509)...Broke the school's freshman RBI record with 66 and posted the third-highest batting average in school history....Became the first Seminole and the first ACC athlete to win the TUCCI/NFCA Division I Freshman of the Year...Also became just the third true freshman in school history to be named a NFCA All-American...Beachum was one of two players to start every single game for the Seminoles...Beachum started all five games over the weekend to kick off her freshman campaign...In her 15 at-bats she ripped eight hits for seven RBI's, including a home run and averaged .533 at the plate... At the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational she scored and got a base knock vs No. 9 Stanford...Put together three hits, two RBI's, and a run scored vs No. 20 UCLA...Accounted for five hits, four RBIs, and hit two home runs in two games of the Dugout Club Classic vs. Nicholls...Hit two home runs during the FGCU Spring Break Classic and drove in five RBIs while the Noles went on to finish the weekend with a 4-1 record...Went 2-2 with two runs scored in the Noles 4-2 victory over No. 4 Duke...Had her career high in hits with four against Pittsburgh (3/23/24) and added four RBI's in the Noles win...Following the Louisville series she is the team leader in batting average (.447) and hits (51)...Is second on the team in slugging (.719)...In the series against Notre Dame she tallied up five hits, including a double and a home run and also had five RBIs in the Noles three-game sweep...She had two home runs and drove in five Noles in the doubleheader vs. Alabama State....Tallied two home runs. a double, six hits, three RBIs, and four runs scored in the Noles three-game sweep over Boston College. Her performance rewarded her with ACC Player of the Week honors (4/23/24)...Hit a three-run home run in the win against No. 12 Florida...Hit a home run and drove in five runs for the Noles in the victory over North Carolina (4/26/24)...Went 3-5 with a home run and three RBIs against No. 9 Florida (5/1/24)...Hit a solo home run in the semi- final of the ACC Tournament in the win vs. Georgia Tech...Recorded two hits and a RBI in the Tallahassee Regional...Hit the game-tying home run against No. 2 Oklahoma (5/23/24) in the second game of the Norman Super Regional.
Prior to FSU:
Beachum lettered in softball for seven years starting in the sixth grade and ranks as the No. 14 player in the Extra Innings Extra Elite 100…in 2018 she was named First Team All-Select 30 and a USA All-American and in 2019 she earned the Gamechanger Award (Equivalent to MVP)…in 2020 she was named to the Junior Olympic Cup All-Tournament team and earned the Defensive Award as a freshman…as a sophomore in 2021 Beachum earned the Offensive Award and the Super 12 Award… she finished the season with 19 home runs, the third most in the state of Alabama for MaxPreps…she was also the Kasey Cooper Home Run Derby Champion with 80 home runs in the last round…she finished off 2021 by being named the Alabama 3A All-State Hitter of the Year…as a junior she was named the 2022 Big Bend Player of the Year and to the All-Big Bend First Team…she was also named the Florida Atlantic Coaches Association District 3 Player of the Year…she finished off the 2022 season named the Florida State University Schools Varsity Softball Most Valuable Player.
Personal:
Beachum was a member of the National Honor Society all four years of high school…her uncle Earnest Robinson ran track at Alabama, her cousin Reshard Pittman played football at rice, her aunt Shanitha Pitman played basketball at Pensacola College and Savannah State University and her cousin Elijawun Jackson played football at Webber University. Beachum is the daughter of Demeetris and Kitta Beachum.
