Made her collegiate debut in the JoAnne Graf Classic, throwing 4.0 innings across two games and striking out six while allowing two hits, one run and one walk (2/7-8)... Pitched an inning of relief against Liberty, giving up one hit and striking out one (2/10)... Totaled 4.2 innings of work, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out one and walking five in two games at the Shriners Chilldren's Clearwater Invitational (2/13-15)... Threw a combined 6.0 innings against No. 9 Alabama and Dartmouth in the Dugout Club Classic, including 2.1 innings where she let up four hits but no runs or walks against the Big Green (2/20-21)

One of the best pitchers in the 2025 class, Marlee Gaskell hopes to continue a long legacy of great Seminole pitchers. The 6-0 left hander from Midlothian, Virginia, was named the No. 4 pitcher in the class by Extra Innings Softball and the No. 21 overall player by Line Drive Softball. Gaskell was named the 2025 MaxPreps Player of the Year in the state of Virginia and the Virginia High School League State Class 5 Player of the Year. Gaskell helped Midlothian High School to the Class 5 State Championship in 2025 and was a PGF Premier Division 18U National Champion in 2024. Gaskell is a three-time all-state, all-region, and all-metro honoree and was the Region 5C Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025 and the All-Metro Player of the Year by the Richmond Times Dispatch in 2025. Gaskell finished her high school career with a 57-7 record at Midlothian. Gaskell is a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, National English Honors Society, Rho Kappa Honors Society, and the National Business Honors Society. Gaskell plans on majoring in marketing at Florida State. Marlee is the daughter of Leslie and Chris Gaskell. Chris was a center for the Wake Forest football team from 1993-97.
