Kami Walk joined the Florida State women’s basketball staff as a graduate assistant for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Eugene, Oregon, Walk attended Southern Oregon University where she enjoyed a decorated four-year career for the Raiders before serving as an assistant coach in 2024-25.
As a coach, Walk helped lead the Raiders to a 34-1 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament. She was responsible for player development, on-campus recruiting and supervised team managers and practice players throughout the season. Prior to games, Walk was tasked with generating the scouting report. She also managed the social media pages for Raiders.
She finished her career playing in 124 career games, starting 117, averaging 13.4 points per game, 7.4 rebounds and 1.27 blocks per game. In her final season as a player, Walk was named Third Team NAIA All-American and finished her career ranked third in points (1,656) and free throws made (493). She was also fourth in rebounds (915) and seventh in blocked shots.
Walk sank the final shot in the regular season finale to secure the Cascade Conference title and a berth in the NAIA Tournament in 2024.
In 2022, Walk posted 18.3 points per game and shot 49 percent during the CCC tournament, leading the Raiders to the title.
Off the court, Walk was named a NAIA Scholar Athlete and was a member of the Academic All-CCC team.
Walk graduated from Sheldon High School in 2019 and helped her team to back-to-back conference titles and a fifth place showing in the state tournament as a senior.
Both of her parents were student-athletes at Oregon. Her mom, Kelly competed in the heptathlon on the track and field team and her father, Rich played football. Her brother, Ryan is currently a graduate assistant coach for the Ducks after playing on the offensive line from 2017-22 where he captured four all-conference honors and was named a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy twice.
