Brook Bauer, a First-Team All-American selection as a senior at Florida State in 2022, is in her first season as an assistant coach at Florida State.  Bauer was an All-Coastal Collegiate Sports Association All-Conference selection, a CCSA All-Tournament team selection, and an All-American selection by the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2022.
 
Bauer led the Seminoles to the National Championship match, as well as the CCSA Championship during her only season at Florida State (2022).  She led the Seminoles to a school-record tying 33 wins, including an undefeated 9-0 record at home, as the Seminoles played for the national championship for the fourth time in school history.  Bauer earned a 29-12 record while playing at the No. 1 position throughout the season. 
 
In three seasons at Pepperdine, Bauer earned All-American Honors twice (2018 and 2019), was named the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year (2019), and was named the WCC Defender of the Year (2019).  She led the Waves to the WCC Championship in 2018, and to a pair of NCAA Championships.  Pepperdine finished in fifth place nationally in 2018 and in seventh place in 2019. 
 
Bauer graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in 2017.  As a senior she was named as the Broward County Player of the Year, the Broward County Athlete of the Year, and as her team MVP.  She helped St. Thomas Aquinas to a 30-2 record and a state championship title. 
 
Bauer earned her bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine in 2021, and an MBA from Florida State in 2022.  She is currently a professional volleyball player on the AVP tour.
