One of the Seminoles’ top recruits who came to Florida State from California... a member of the 2024 Seminoles’ beach volleyball team that won the CCSA Championship and played in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament… an outstanding athlete who has played soccer at a very high level for much of her athletic career...began playing beach volleyball in the summer before the start of her junior year in high school...as a soccer player, she represented the United States in the Dana Cup Tournament in 2182...the Dana Cup is one of the world’s top international youth soccer tournaments...helped lead the U.S. to a third place finish in the event which was played in Demark… Graduated from Central Valley Christian High School in 2023...earned First-Team All-Tri County Conference honors for Kings County for indoor volleyball in 2022...named to the county All-State team in 2022...served as the team captain her senior season...led her team to the Southern Regional championship and to a state championship tournament runner-up finish...earned First-Team All-Tri County Conference honors for Kings County for indoor volleyball in 2021.

Born April 27, 2005...Karlee is the daughter of Sharol and Mike DeGroot...a sister, Kolbi, is a sophomore setter at Central Valley Christian school...graduated high school with Summa Cum Laude honors...earned a lifetime membership in the California Scholarship Federation as a member of the CSF throughout her prep career...served as the President of her class as a sophomore, junior and a senior...a member of the Shorebreak Volleyball Club...aspires to be a speech pathologist when she graduates in order to help younger children...major is Communication Science and Disorders.
