Ileana Moschos

With over 25 years of collegiate coaching and administrative experience, Ileana Moschos is in her sixth season as the Director of Operations for the nationally ranked Florida State Beach Volleyball team.  She began her career as an assistant coach for the three-time national champion Florida State soccer team in 2006, and became the Director of Operations for the Beach Volleyball team in 2019.
 
She has been an integral part of the Beach Volleyball team at Florida State, which has earned 11 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, seven CCSA championship titles, three national runner-up finishes, and most recently, an appearance in the NCAA quarterfinals in 2024. 
 
Moschos works closely with fundraising, project development and community service projects for the beach volleyball team. 
 
Moschos was an assistant soccer coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012-2017.  She was an assistant coach at Creighton University from 2007-11.  Moschos began her coaching career at Davidson College where she helped lead the Wildcats in 1998 and 1999. 
 
Moschos played in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, as a goalkeeper.  She played at Wofford during her collegiate career and for the California Storm of the Women’s Premier Soccer League in 2004.  Moschos led the Storm to a national championship in 2004. 
 
Moschos graduated from Wofford College in 1998 as she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting in 1998.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology from the University of Wyoming in 2000.
