A member of Florida State’s 2024-25 team that won the first ACC Championship in school history…completed her three-year career at Florida State having played in three events and nine total career rounds…played in three matches – including the Florida State Match Up – during her freshman season as a Seminole…finished in a career-best tied for 40th place at the 2024 Match Up on the Seminoles’ home course in Tallahassee…a President’s List honoree (4.0 grade point average) during the fall of 2024…earned Dean’s List academic honors in both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters…two-time Junior Long Drive National Champion (2020 and 2022)...finished in a tie for sixth place in the 2022 Tennessee Girls’ Junior Amateur Championship with scores of 75-70-76...won the individual championship at the Midseason Invitational at LPGA International in Daytona Beach with scores of 73-71-76...also a first place finish at the 2022 Sneds Master’s Championship at WillowCreek Golf Course in Knoxville shooting 71-70 and the Sneds Tournament of Champions at the Hillwood Country Club in Nashville shooting 69-74...the stroke play champion at the Sneds Elite Match Play Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in 2022 with scores of 71-69...teamed with Ella Cress to win the championship of the Scotty hosted by Scott Stallings in 2022 at the Oak Ridge (Tenn.) Country Club...the Scotty is a match-play four-ball event comprised of two-player teams...Bugg and Cress earned the No. 1 seed (by shooting 67)and won the three match play rounds to claim the championship...named as the Team West MVP in leading her team the championship of the 2022 Tennessee Junior Cup...teamed with Isabella Johnson to win the Tennessee Golf Association’s Women’s Four-Ball championship at the Tennessee Golf Trail at Montgomery Bell in 2022 in multi record-fashion...totaled a record for the 36-hole championship of 14-under par 128...the pair won the championship by 10 strokes...earned academic honors – Dean’s List in the fall of 2023 and President’s List in the spring of 2023 – in both of her first two semesters as a freshman...averaged 75.44 strokes in nine rounds during three events during her career as a Florida State Seminole.

WINTER 2024
Played in the Patriot All-American Invitational and the Wigwam Resort in Litchfeld Park, Arizona (December 29-31)...the 54-hole event is one of the most unique events for collegiate golfers to play in during their careers...the unique aspect of Patriot All-America Invitational is the golfers play to honor our military heroes...at the opening ceremony, Bugg received, and carried throughout the event, a commemorative PING golf bag that had the name, rank, and branch of a fallen or wounded hero...Bugg honored Wentz J. Shanaberger III, a former Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, throughout the tournament...carded a 4-over par score of 74 and was in a tie for 59th place after the first round of play...was at even par following her first nine holes played...in a tie for 59th place in the individual standings of the Patriot All-American after two rounds with a cumulative total of 150 (76-74)...finished play in the Patriot All-American Invitational with scores of 74-76-78 and a three round total of 228...finished in a tie for 69th place in the championship.

SUMMER 2024
The champion of the 92nd Annual Tennessee Women's Amateur at the Belle Meade (Tenn.) Country Club...with her win at the Tennessee Amateur she earns entry into the U.S. Women's Amateur at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa (Aug. 5-11)...also scheduled to play in the Women's Western (July 16-18) and the Tennessee Women's Open (July 25-27)...finished in a tie for 39th place at the 2024 Sea Island Women’s Amateur Championship at the Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia…the event was part of the 2024 Women’s Elite Amateur Golf Series…an even par score of 72 in the first round had in in a tie for 15th place in the individual standings after 18 holes of play…In a tie for 26th place after two rounds of play with a total of 145 (72-73)…finished in a tie for 39th place in the individual standings with scores of 72-73-75 for a three-round total of 4 over par 220…carded a first round score of 84 in the Southwestern Amateur and was in a tie for 65th place in the individual standings...a two-round total of 168 in two rounds of play at Southwestern Amateur...in a tie for first place at the Tennessee Women's Amateur after the first round with a 1 under par score of 71...was one of only two players in the 64-golfer field to shoot under par in the first round of the three-round championship...a second consecutive score of 71 and a two round total of 142 had her in sole possession of first place after 36 holes...she led a group of three golfers in second-place heading into the third and final round on June 20...a third consecutive score of 71 and a three-round total of 213 gave her the championship of the Tennessee Amateur...she defeated Lynn Lim by one stroke to win the championship...finished as the only golfer in the field to finish with under par scores in each of the three rounds of play...in a tie for 51st place at the North & South Amateur Championship after a first round score of 75...carded a second round score of 84 for a two-round total of 159 at the North & South Amateur Championship...in a tie for 25th place with a 5 over par score of 77 following the first round of the Tennessee Women's Open...in a tie for 21st place in the Tennessee Women's Open after a second round score of 75 and a two-round total of 152...only four strokes out of the top-10 heading into the final round of play...finished in a tie for 36th place at the 2024 Tennessee Women's Open with scores of 77-75-81 for a three-round total of 233...played in the 2024 US Women's Amateur at the Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla...played in the first round but missed the cut in the US Amateur...

SPRING 2024 (SEASON AVERAGE: 75.00/ LOW SCORE: 73)
Played in one match as an individual competitor – the Florida State Match Up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course…finished in a tie for 40th place in the individual standings…carded a 73 in the first round of the Match Up and was in a tie for 31st place in the individual standings...she was ranked as the fourth lowest of the eight individuals playing in the event after 18 holes of play...in a tie for 48th place with scores of 73-77 and a 36-hole total of 150 after the second round of the Match Up...finished in a tied for 40th place in the individual standings of the Match Up with scores of 73-77-75 for a three-round total of 225...averaged a career-low 75.00 strokes in three rounds during one event.

WINTER 2023-24
Played in the Orlando Women’s International Amateur Championship at the Mission Inn and Golf Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (Jan, 4-6, 2024)…the 54-hole event will be played on the El Campeon and Las Colinas courses at the Mission Inn…was In a tie for 143rd place after the first round of the Women’s Orlando Amateur Open with a 13-over par score of 84…missed the cut at the Women’s Orlando Open with a 36-hole total of 165 (+22) with scores of 84-81.

FALL 2023 (SEASON AVERAGE: 75.67 / LOW SCORE: 70)
Played in two of Florida State’s three events – the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and the Schooner Fall Classic…was in Florida State’s lineup for the first match of her freshman season – the ANNKA Intercollegiate…finished in 58th place at the ANNIKA at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn...carded a 79 in her first career round of the ANNIKA…her score included the first birdie of her Seminole career on the very first hole she played...totaled three birdies in her first career round...finished with scores of 79-77-76 for a three-round total of 232 as she displayed improvement in each of the rounds in her first career collegiate tournament…finished in 66th place in the individual standings at the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla…played as an individual in the Schooner…in a tie for 16th place in the individual standings with a career-best score of 70 after the first round…her score of 70 was the second-best score in the first round among the six Seminoles playing in the Schooner and the lowest score of her first season as a Seminole...carded a 78 in the second round of the Schooner and earned a total of 148 through the first 36-holes of the event...totaled scores of 70-78-74 and a three round total of 222 in the Schooner…averaged 75.67 strokes in six rounds during two events.

SUMMER 2023
Earned medalist honors at the AJGA Huntsville Junior Championship with scores of 72-67-72 for a three-day total of five under par 211...a tied for 16th place finish at the Tennessee Girls' Junior Championship...totaled scores of 80-82-70 for a three round total of 232.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
Graduated from Battle Ground Academy in 2023...a four-year varsity letter winner in golf...also earned varsity letters basketball (four) soccer (three) and softball (two)...played in the TSSAA State Championship Women’s Golf Tournament in three of her four seasons at Battle Ground...Won the TSSAA Division II-A individual state championship as a senior as she carded an even par 140 (68-72)...led her team at battle Ground to the runner-up position in the state championships in winning the individual title as a senior...earned All-State First-Team honors for Division II-A as a senior in 2022 by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association...as a freshman, she finished second in the state regional championships and fifth at the district championships...led BGA to a second place team finish in the district championships as she finished in fifth place in the individual championships as a sophomore...led her team to a third place team finish as she finished in fifth place in the district championships as a junior in 2021...the regional championship in leading her tam team a second place finish as a junior...a sixth place individual finish and a second finished in the team standings in the TSSAA State Tournament as a junior...helped lead the Wildcats to consecutive state championships as a soccer midfielder during her freshman and sophomore seasons.

PERSONAL: Born September 20, 2005....Bella is the daughter of Amy and Konnor Bugg...she has two dogs, Braxton and Cleo...a member of the BGA Athletics Leadership Academy...academically inclined and graduated with a 4.40 grade point average...a member of the Cum Laude Academic National Chapter, the National Honor Society, the Digamma Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars at Battle Ground...very community-serviced oriented, she competed in the Tennessee Cup – an AJGA fundraising event for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center, the Snedeker Foundation and the AJGA’s ACE grant program in -- 2021 and 2022...volunteered throughout her career at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Tennessee, Graceworks Ministry, Angle Tree, and the First Tee program of Nashville...a four-year class officer at Battle Ground, and volunteered her time as a writing tutor for her fellow students...began playing golf in 2014 while she was nine-year old and in the fifth grade...was introduced to the game of golf by her grandfather...began playing soccer when she was five-years old...traveled around the Southeast of the US from ages 3-10 competing in national level gymnastics...major is criminology.
