A member of Florida State’s 2024-25 team that won the first ACC Championship in school history…played in the 2024 ACC Championship, the NCAA Las Vegas Regional Championship, and the NCAA Championship Finals as a sophomore during the spring of 2024…played in 12 events and 34 career rounds during her career as a Seminole…ranked 37th in school history with a career scoring average of 76.41…played in a career-high seven events as a sophomore during the 2024 spring season…earned her first career top-10 finish of tied for seventh at the Florida State Match Up during the spring of her freshman season…her career low single-round score of 70 came in the first round of the 2024 ACC Championship and had her in a tie for ninth place in the individual standings after 18 holes had been played…a member of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 FSU Student Athlete Advisory Committee…earned FSU Academic President’s List honors (4.0 GPA) in the fall of 2023 and the fall of 2024, while earning Dean’s List honors in the fall semester of 2022, the spring semester of 2023, and the spring semester of 2024…named to the 2024 ACC Academic Honor Roll and to the 2024 WGCA All-America Scholar Team...averaged 76.41 strokes in 34 rounds during 12 tournaments during her career at Florida State.

A member of the Seminoles' 2025 ACC Championship team…helped Florida State to the team championship at the spring season opening Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club…finished in a tie for 42nd place with a three round total of 231 at the Collegiate Invitational…finished in a tie for 26th in the individual standings at the Florida State Match Up with scores of 74-78-75 and a three round total of 227 (+11)…carded a season-low 74 and was in a tie for 10th place after the first round of the Florida State Match Up...was the second ranked individual player in the field of nine individual players and 73 total golfers after the first round of play…finished in a tie for 26th place in the individual standings and as the third highest ranking individual in the event…averaged 76.33 strokes in six rounds during two events during the spring of her junior season.

Played in five of Florida State’s seven events including her first career ACC Championship, her first career NCAA Regional Championship and her first career NCAA Championship Finals…the five events she played in marked a career-high for tournaments played during a single season at Florida State…helped Florida State to a tied for 11th place at the 2024 NCAA Division I Championship and to a fifth place finish at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional Championship as a member of the Seminoles’ lineup in both events…helped lead the Seminoles to a tied for sixth place finish as a member of the Seminoles' lineup at the ACC Championship...finished in 82nd place with scores of 81-75-82-77 for a four-round total of 315 at the 2024 NCAA Division I Championship Finals...helped Florida State finish a tie for 11th place in the team standings at the NCAA Championship in Carlsbad, Callf…Florida State counted her second ad fourth round scores toward their team total in her first career NCAA Championship appearance…carded her NCAA Championships career best score of 75 and moved up 27 places in the individual standings and into a tie for 135 place with a two-round total of 156...helped the Seminoles advance to the fourth round of stroke play as Florida State was in 15th place in the team standings at the NCAA Division I Championships after three rounds of play...played in one of three rounds in the NCAA Las Vegas Regional Championship...carded an 83 in the first round of the regional championship...helped the Seminoles to a fifth place finish at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional championship which advanced the Seminoles to the NCAA Division I Championship Finals for the second time in her career...finished with a three-round of 225 and in a tie for 45th place in the individual standings of the ACC Championship...the Seminoles finished in a tie for sixth  place in the team standings...a career-low score of 70 in the first round of the ACC Championship had her in a tie for ninth place in the individual standings after the first round of the tournament...a second round score of 77 and a career-low 36-hole total of 147 had Cook in a tie for 47th place in the individual standings of the conference meet…finished in a tie for 37th place in the individual standings to help the Seminoles into a second place finish in the 2024 Florida State Match Up...a score of 73 and in a tie for 31st place after the first round of play in the Match Up...helped lead the Seminoles into first place in the team standings after the first round of play...in a tie for 37th place after two rounds with scores of 73-75 and a two-round total of 148... scores of 73-75-76 for a three round total of 224 and finished in a tie for 37th place in the Florida State Match Up…finished in a tie for 62nd place in the individual standings at Valspar Augusta Invitational and helped Florida State to a fifth place finish in the team standings at the Valspar...played in one round in the Old Barnwell Match Play Derby…lost to Sophia Burnett of South Carolina, 4&3, in the second round of the Old Barnwell…the Gamecocks defeated the Seminoles by a 3-1-1 margin...averaged 76.64 strokes in 14 round during five events.

FALL 2023 (SEASON AVERAGE: 76.17 / SEASON LOW: 74)
Played in two of Florida State’s three fall events – the Schooner Fall Classic and the Tar Heel Invitational…finished in a tie for 67th place in the Schooner Fall Classic and finished in 70th place at the Tar Heel Invitational...carded a 4-over par score of 74 in the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic to give herself a 36-hole total of 149...season low scores of 74 in the second and third rounds of the Schooner…finished the Schooner with scores of 75-74-74 for a three round total of 223...helped Florida State finish in fifth place in the team standings of the Schooner...counted one of her three scores in team total at the Schooner…finished in 70th place in the Tar Heel Invitational with scores of 77-75-82 and a three round total of 234...Florida State finished in ninth place in the team standings at the Tar Heel…averaged a career-low 76.17 strokes in six rounds during two events.

SUMMER 2023
Finished in sixth place in the individual standings at the Yellow Hammer Invitational with scores of 80-76-78 for a three-round total of 234…carded an 80 in the first round…moved into a tie for seventh place in the standings with a two-round total of 156 (80-76)...finished in a tie for 21st place at the Georgia Women’s Amateur Championship at the Horseshoe Bend Country Club...finished with a three-round total of 228 with scores of 75-77-76...was in a tie for 10th place with a first round score of 75...a second round 77 and a two-round total of 152 has her in a tie for 17th heading into the Sunday’s final round of play...finished in a tie for 21st with her three-round total of 228.

SPRING 2023 (SEASON AVERAGE: 76.25 / SEASON LOW 72)
Played in three events as she earned playing time as a freshman for the Florida State women’s golf team during the 2023 spring season…her season-low single round score (72) came in the second round and her career-low three-round tournament score of 221 came at the Florida State Match Up…made her Florida State debut at the Moon Invitational at Melbourne, Fla…played as an individual in her first three collegiate matches…competed as an individual in the Moon Invitational, the Valspar Augusta Invitational and the Florida State Match Up in the first three appearances of her Seminole career…finished as the highest ranked individual player at tied for seventh in the individual standings of the Florida State Match Up…a first round score of 76 and was in a tie for 27th place after the first round of the FSU Match Up…in a tie for 13th place and the leading individual player with a two round total of 148 with scores of 76-72 in the first two rounds of the Match Up…finished in a career-best tied for seventh place in the individual standings and as the fifth highest finishing Seminole in the event with scores of 76-72-73 for a three round total of 221 (+5)…Florida State won the team championship at the Match Up for the school record fourth consecutive time…finished in 91st place in the individual scores of 77-77-83 and a three-round total of 237 at the Moon Invitational…Florida State finished in 11th place in the Moon Invitational as a team…finished in tie for 53rd place while playing in the Valspar Augusta Invitational as an individual…was in a tie for 28th place with a first round score of 74…a two-round total of 152 and finished in a tie for 53rd place with scores of 74-78 in the rain and wind shortened Valspar…Florida State finished in third place in the team standings at the Valspar…competed in two matches during the NC State Match Play Championship…fell to Virginia Bossi of Virginia (3&2) and to Isabel Amezcua of NC State (1UP)….Florida State finished with a 1-2 record in the event with a win over Virginia and losses to Virginia Tech and NC State…averaged 76.25 strokes in eight rounds during three events.

WINTER 2023
Played in the Women’s South Atlantic Amateur Championship (The Sally) at the Oceanside Country Club on Ormond Beach, Fla. (January 4-7, 2023)…finished in 54th place in the standings at the Sally with scores of 78-78-78-87 for a four-round total of 321…played in the championship division in the event among a field of 84 players.

FALL 2022

SUMMER 2002
Earned a sixth place finish at the Florida State Amateur at TPC Sugarloaf…earned scores of 72-72-71 for a three round total of 215…played in the Second Annual Sea Island Women’s Amateur…finished in 42nd place with scores of 76-75-74.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
Graduated from Brookwood High School in 2022…played on state championship teams in both 2021 and 2022…a team leader as the Warriors also won the AAA 3-Region Championship in 2019, 2021 and 2022…helped Brookwood to the state championship as a senior in 2022 at Harbor Club Golf Course on Lake Oconee….led Brookwood to the regional championship in 2021 and 2022…enjoyed an exceedingly successful high school and junior career both on and off of the course…a leader who served as the class president of her high school class…lead Brookwood (combined girl’s and boy’s program) to a pair of state championships and a third place state championship finish during her career…helped lead her Brookwood High School team to both regional and state championship titles in 2021 and 2022…individual championship finishes in 2021 at the Brunswick (Ga.) Junior Classic with scores of 68-79=147, the SJGT Championship played at her collegiate home on the Seminole Legacy Golf Course with scores of 75-72=147, and the Harris English Invitational played on her home course of Glen Arven in Thomasville with scores of 67-69=136…three junior championships in 2019 at the Brunswick Junior Classic, the Kinderlou Forest Junior Classic and the Junior Peach Blossom Classic…three championships in 2018 including the title at the TPC Sawgrass Junior Classic on the Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra, Fla…finished third in the 2021 Georgia State Amateur and fourth in the 2021 AJGA Sam Burns Tournament.

PERSONAL
Born May 26, 2003…Katherine is the daughter of Amy and Tom Cook…has two sisters, Amelia and Abbey…graduated magna cum laude from Brookwood…earned the Patricia James Bulloch Memorial Service Award at Brookwood High School’s graduation in 2022…the award is presented annually to the student who has given outstanding service to the school throughout her academic career…the student body president as a senior in 2022…committed to Florida State and head coach Amy Bond in October of 2020 – a full year before signing her National Letter of Intent…major is Hospitality and Tourism Management.
