Indoor:Placed first in the 200 (23.16) and placed second in the 60 (7.23) at the ACC Indoor T&F Championships...Placed fourth in the 200 (22.91) at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational...Placed first in the 60 (7.20) and placed first in the 200 (23.24) at the 2024 PNC Lenny Lyles Invite...Placed first in the 4x400 (3:37.19) at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
2022-23 Season
Outdoor:
- June 7-10 – NCAA Finals – earned first team All-America honors with an eighth place finish in the 100 meters in 11.08
- May 24-27 – NCAA East First Round (Jacksonville, FL) – Qualified for NCAA Finals with a fourth place finish in the 100m with a time of 11.05, finished 13th in the 200m in 23.08, member of 4×100 relay team that qualified for nationals with a 12th place finish in 44.34
- May 11-13 – ACC Outdoor Championships – Named Women’s Most Valuable Performer at winning the 100m (11.18) and 200m (22.67)
- April 28-29 – UNF East Coast – Won the 200m in a time of 22.75 and was third in the 100m in 11.14
- April 22 – LSU Alumni Gold – Member of 4×400 relay team that was fourth with a time of 3:36.68; finished 15th in the 100m in 11.50
- April 14-15 — Tom Jones Invite (Gainesville, FL) – Placed 10th in the 200m with a time of 22.77 and 21st in the 100m in 11.39
- March 31-1 – Pepsi Relays (Gainesville, FL) – Member of 4×100 relay team that finished sixth in a time of 44.45
Indoor:
Placed 15th in the 60m dash (7.27) and 11th in the 200m dash (22.89) at the NCAA Indoor Championship…Finished second in the 60m dash (7.19) and won the 200m dash (23.10) at ACC Indoor Championship…Finished second in the 60m dash (7.18) and third in the 200m dash (22.93) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational…Finished second in the 60m dash prelims and finals with the same mark (7.29) and seventh in the women’s 200m (23.51) at the Razorback invitational. Placed ninth in the 60m dash (7.36) and fourth in the 4x400m relay (54.994, 3:41.77) at the Clemson Invitational.
Personal
One of the most decorated high school track athletes in Nebraska history…Holds the Nebraska state record in both the 100m dash and 200m dash…Was named the 2020-21 Nebraska Athlete of the Year and was a state champion in the 100m dash and 200m dash while helping the Lincoln High School 4x100m relay team to a state championship…Plans to major in interior design…Daughter of Laquanda Ellison and Donald DeFrand….Her father played football for the University of Nebraska from (2003-06).
