– Was a crucial part of the practice squad and took a redshirt for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL:
– Was named the 2013 AVCA Florida Volleyball Player of the Year.
– Helped Holy Trinity Episcopal to three district championships and one runner up finish her junior year (2012).
– Was chosen to participate in the All-Star match in 2013.
– A four-year varsity letterman.
– Helped Orlando Volleyball Academy qualify for junior nationals.
– Contributed to a runner-up finish in AAU U-16.
– Was named the MVP of High Volleyball Tournament.
PERSONAL:
Born Dec. 15, 1995…daughter of Josh and Carey Dixon…made the honor roll at Holy Trinity Episcopal…used to played the saxophone…was a gymnast for 13 years…her proudest moment was helping her team to silver at the AAU National Championship…her favorite part of being a student-athlete is you get to be a part of something bigger at your school…major is undecided.
