OF NOTE:
- Cam Smith tied a school record with two triples, becoming the ninth player in school history and first since Reese Albert in 2019 to accomplish the feat. His four triples on the season are a team high and the most for an FSU freshman since 2014, when Ben DeLuzio had five. As a team, FSU has 13 triples, tied with 2019 for the most over the last 10 seasons.
- Smith is the first Seminole since Dylan Busby in 2016 with at least four triples and 10 home runs in a season. Busby had five triples and 14 home runs as a sophomore.
- Jaime Ferrer matched his freshman total of 19 doubles with an RBI two-bagger in the first inning. He has a double in four straight games and six in the last six games. He leads FSU in doubles, hits (62) and RBI (37). Ferrer also had the first sacrifice bunt of his career.
- DeAmez Ross tied a career-high with three hits, and drew a walk. He and Ferrer lead FSU with six-game hitting streaks, and Ross now has three three-hit games, one behind Ferrer.
- James Tibbs hit an RBI single in the first inning; he walked and stole a base in the second inning, and was intentionally walked in the fourth. Tibbs leads FSU with 35 walks (19 more than second place) and is 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts. He has drawn three of FSU’s five intentional walks this season.
- Carrion hit a pair of singles Tuesday, including the go-ahead RBI knock in the first inning. He is now hitting .450 (9-for-20) in his career against his former team.
