Noles Return Home to Host Georgia Tech on Sunday

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (7-13, 2-6 ACC) will host Georgia Tech (8-12, 3-5 ACC) on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

The Seminoles hold the series lead over Georgia Tech 33-25 and have won the previous six meetings.

Florida State has six players averaging at least 8.0 points per game, led by Sole Williams, who is averaging 14.8 points per game.

As a team, the Seminoles lead the ACC in three pointers per game, with 8.6 per game. Jasmine Shavers leads the team with 39 threes made this season.

The game will air on the ACC Network with Ariya Massoudi and Angel Gray on the call. The Seminole Sport Network can be found on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app with Jack Kavovit and Melissa Bruner.

Florida State used a 24-point third quarter to defeat SMU in Dallas, 73-51.

The Seminoles were led by Shavers, who scored 22 points in front of her hometown crowd. She tied her career high with six three-pointers made. FSU made 12 threes on the night, marking the fourth game this season the Noles made 12 or more in a game.

Pania Davis led the team on the boards, registering her third double-double of the season behind 14 rebounds and 13 points.

FSU grabbed 56 rebounds on the night, the highest tally against an ACC opponent this season. It was also the fourth game the Noles grabbed 50 or more in a game this season.
