Lacrosse to Host No. 20 Virginia on Sunday

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State lacrosse team (2-6, 0-4 ACC) hosts No. 20 Virginia (3-4, 2-1) on Sunday at the Seminole Lacrosse Complex.
The Seminoles are 2-1 at home this season, averaging more than 12 goals per game inside the Seminole Lacrosse Complex. Virginia is 3-1 away from home with road wins over Liberty, No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 21 Pitt.
Junior midfielder Alyssa Deacy scored two goals in the Seminoles' most recent outing against Louisville, marking her second multi-goal game of her career. Brynn Perkins, Meg Kenny, and Summer Harrell each tallied one goal in the game. Perkins, a true freshman from Tustin, California, has the ACC's fourth-highest free position percentage.
Florida State goalkeepers recorded a season-high 13 saves against Louisville. Sophomore Julia Ward totaled a single-game program-record 11 saves, and finished the game with a .550 save percentage while playing a career-high 47 minutes in the net.
