TALLAHASSEE – Florida State's Sophia Fullbrook, Haruhi Nakatani, Layla Pedrique, and Elin Pudas Remler have been named to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced Monday.

The four Seminoles were among 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized nationally for their excellence in the classroom and on the course. The WGCA All-American Scholar Team is one of the most prestigious academic honors in collegiate golf, with student-athletes required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher while competing in at least 50 percent of their team's scheduled rounds through the conference championship.

It marks the seventh consecutive year, and the ninth time in the last 10 years, that at least three Seminoles have earned WGCA All-America Scholar honors. Additionally, the Seminoles have now had at least one golfer named to the national scholar team in 13 consecutive seasons.

Under head coach Amy Bond, 23 different Seminole golfers have combined to earn 43 WGCA All-America Scholar honors. Bond was also recognized as a WGCA All-America Scholar during her collegiate career in 1998.

Fullbrook, a psychology major with a 3.93 cumulative GPA, added another national academic honor to an outstanding sophomore campaign after also earning All-ACC Academic Team recognition and CSC Academic All-District honors. She was named a Second Team All-American by both Golfweek and the WGCA while finishing the season ranked No. 18 nationally.

Fullbrook competed in 11 stroke play tournaments and two match play events, posting a 71.09 stroke average over 34 stroke play rounds. She recorded 23 rounds at or under par and totaled seven top 10 finishes with three individual championships at the Florida State Match Up, Coach Mo Classic and NCAA Tallahassee Regional. She concluded the season with a 20th-place finish at the NCAA Championship.

Nakatani, an economics major with a 3.86 GPA, earned the honor following an impressive freshman season that saw her compete in 11 stroke play tournaments and two match play events. She finished the year ranked No. 95 nationally after climbing as high as No. 70 during the season. Nakatani posted a 72.48 stroke average across 33 stroke play rounds while earning four top 10 finishes, including a tie for sixth place at the ACC Championship after carding a 6-under-par total of 210.

Pedrique, a finance major with a 3.87 GPA, received WGCA All-America Scholar recognition after also earning a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team. The sophomore competed in nine tournaments and played 25 rounds during the season, finishing with a 75.88 stroke average. Her top finish came at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, where she tied for 26th after shooting 5-over-par 221.

Pudas Remler, a management major with a 3.53 GPA, was honored after another strong sophomore campaign in which she competed in 10 stroke play tournaments and two match play events. She finished the season ranked No. 136 nationally after reaching as high as No. 62 and averaged 73.87 strokes over 30 stroke play rounds.
