Fullbrook, Landgraf Earn Preseason All-America Honors; Seminoles Ranked No. 8

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State junior Sophia Fullbrook and freshman Louise Landgraf earned preseason All-America recognition from Golf Channel, with Fullbrook selected to the Second Team and Landgraf receiving Honorable Mention honors and a spot on the Preseason All-Freshman Team, as announced Monday. The Seminoles were also ranked No. 8 nationally in Golf Channel's preseason team rankings.

Fullbrook enters her junior season following a breakout sophomore campaign in which she earned three individual victories, including the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, and finished the season ranked No. 18 nationally. She posted a 71.09 stroke average over 34 rounds with a team-high 23 rounds at or below par. Fullbrook also registered seven top-10 finishes in 11 stroke-play events before tying for 20th at the NCAA Championship.

The England native's three victories came during a five-event stretch to close the spring. She won the Florida State Match Up at Seminole Legacy Golf Club before sharing medalist honors at the Coach Mo Classic. Fullbrook then captured the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, firing a four-under 68 in the final round to finish as co-champion and help the Seminoles earn a second-place finish and advance to the NCAA Championship for the 10th consecutive season.

Landgraf joins the Seminoles following an accomplished amateur career that saw her climb as high as No. 42 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). In 21 events counted toward the WAGR, the Thailand native recorded four victories and seven top 10 finishes.

Most recently, she captured the 2026 Irish Women's Open Stroke Play Championship. She also competed in the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur and won the Portuguese Ladies Amateur Championship in both 2025 and 2026.

The preseason honors highlight a Florida State roster that returns seven players from last season's NCAA Championship team, including Fullbrook, juniors Elin Pudas Remler, Alexandra Gazzoli, Layla Pedrique and Freya Russell, and sophomores Haruhi Nakatani and Haley Davis. Freshman Kayla Bryant joins Landgraf as the Seminoles' two newcomers.

Florida State was ranked No. 8 in Golf Channel's preseason team rankings after finishing No. 24 in the final 2025-26 rankings. Stanford is picked No.1 followed by USC, Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Duke, and Wake Forest.

The Seminoles are scheduled to open the 2026-27 season Sept. 7-9 at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan. The event will be nationally televised on Golf Channel.
