Seminoles Host Exhibition vs. Sporting Jax Friday Night

TALLAHASSEE – The No. 4 Florida State soccer team will host Sporting Jacksonville in an exhibition game on Friday, August 7, at 7 p.m. ET.
Admission is free for the preseason friendly at the Seminole Soccer Complex. There will not be a live stream or live stats.
Friday night's game will be the Seminoles' first contest since winning their fifth national championship on December 8, 2025. The five-time NCAA champions have won two of the last three titles and three of the last five, since 2021.
Following Friday night's matchup, FSU's regular season commences at Stetson on August 13. Florida State's first home game is vs. FAU on August 20, at 7 p.m.
Florida State is ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, along with the ACC Coaches Preseason Poll.
New in 2026, tickets will be required for all fans to every regular-season home game at the Seminole Soccer Complex. Season and single game tickets are available now at Seminoles.com/Tickets, or by calling the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at 850-644-1830. Admission will continue to be free for all FSU students with their FSUID.
Florida State has seven regular-season home games in 2026. That includes matchups against ACC opponents NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Duke and Virginia Tech at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
