TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 28 Florida State men’s tennis program earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the 28th time in program history. The Seminoles will travel to Athens, Georgia, for regionals to face Georgia State in the first round.

“We’re thrilled to be back in it,” head coach Dwayne Hultquist said. “It’s the 19th time in the last 20 years that we’ve made the tournament, so it is something our team is really looking forward to.”

The University of Georgia is hosting the tournament as the No. 11 seed in the country. The Bulldogs will open with Alabama State.

The first round will begin on Friday at a time to be determined.

Florida State most recently competed in the NCAA Tournament in 2019. The last time the Seminoles traveled to Athens for regionals was in 2016.
