Appeared in three games in 2013…went 1-for-2 against Jacksonville (2/20) collecting a single to left in his first career at-bat…made a season-high two putouts at second in the win over the Dolphins…pinch ran and scored in a five-run eighth inning against USF (2/23)…drew a walk as a pinch hitter against Stetson (3/20), while recording a season-high two assists out at second base.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A four-year varsity starter for Treasure Coast High School…earned first team All-Area in 2011 and 2012…recipient of the Treasure Coast Grizzly (Leadership) Award and Treasure Coast Offensive Award during the 2011-12 academic year…batted .339 with two home runs, 15 RBI, eight stolen bases and seven runs scored in his senior campaign…participated in the 2012 Mike Picano Senior All-Star Game…earned Perfect Game All-American honorable mention accolades in 2012…was a four-year honor roll student.
PERSONAL:
Son of Tanya Cruz…has one sister, Destyni Swoope, and one brother, Geno Ingram…goes by the nickname “Swoope”…transferred to Nova University following the 2013 season…born May 11, 1994.
