Senior (2025)
Played in 56 games and made 37 starts...Finished with a .281 batting average with five home runs and 17 RBI...Led the ACC with 21 stolen bases and was only caught once...Had two hits, scored three runs, and stole one base on one attempt during the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge (2/6-2/8)... Contributed two RBIs two hits, and two runs over the course of the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational (2/13-2/16)... Recorded 25 putouts and logged three runs and two hits during the JoAnne Graf Classic (2/20-2/22)... Scored four runs, stole a base, and had one hit and RBI throughout the Dugout Club Classic (2/27-3/1)... Junior (2024)
Had her best season as a Seminole as she started all 62 games and set career highs in every major offensive category...Finished the season with a .322 average with eight home runs and 30 RBI...Led the ACC with 28 stolen bases on 31 attempts...Hit seven triples as well...Had three hits for the Noles over opening weekend including a solo home run and a triple vs. Texas Tech (2/10/24)...She walked five times, scoring eight runs while also going 4-for-4 on stolen bases on opening weekend...Recorded two hits, an RBI and stole two bases against No. 20 UCLA...Batted over .600 for the Seminoles during the Dugout Club Classic including 10 hits, three triples, a double, a home run, and six RBIs...Went 3-for-3 against Purdue (3/9/24) at the FGCU Spring Break Classic which included three runs scored, two RBI, a home run, two walks, and three stolen bases in the game...In the Noles' double-header vs. South Dakota State she drove in a total of six runs, including two home runs, while walking three times, and scoring three times...Hit a home run in three consecutive games against Pittsburgh including eight RBI in the Noles' three-game sweep...Went 2-for-3 with a stolen base in the victory against Notre Dame (4/12/24) ...Recorded her sixth triple of the season in the victory vs. Alabama State (4/17/17)...Went 3-for-3 with three runs scored in the victory over North Carolina (4/26/24)...Scored two runs and hit a triple against No. 9 Florida (5/1/24)...Recorded a hit and drew a walk in the ACC Tournament Championship game against Duke (5/11/24)...Picked up a hit in the Super Regional against Oklahoma (5/24/24).
Sophomore (2023)
Played in 49 games while making seven starts...Was a problem for opponents on the base paths stealing 22 bases on 23 attempts...Hit .250 in 36 at-bats six RBI while scoring 21 runs...Stole a base in four consecutive appearances against Marist, UCF, Georgia, Oklahoma State and Tennessee...Stole a base in three straight games on the road against conference opponents (4/20-4/28) and scored a run in back-to-back games at Virginia Tech (4/20-4/21)…Earned her fifth RBI of the season with a single against Jacksonville and made a career-high four assists from second base (4/12)…Recorded her second career conference hit against Syracuse (3/17)…Hit twice in back-to-back games which includes her first home run of the season against FGCU (2/24) and a triple against Lamar (2/25)…Came into pinch hit for 4 of the 5 opening weekend games, hitting a single during a 3-run 6th inning (2/9).
Freshman (2022)
Played in 50 games with 12 starts as a freshman… finished the season with a .190 batting average (8-for-42)… five of her eight hits were extra-base hits with three home runs, one double and one triple… she had 10 RBI, 18 runs scored and 12 stolen bases… her first career hit was a home run against Hofstra (2/25) in a game in which she went 2-for-2 with a triple, a home run and five RBI… had her second career home run at Florida A&M (3/1), she went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored… her third career home run came against South Florida (5/21) in the Tallahassee Regional as a pinch hitter… stole two bases in a game twice… she did it in the first game of the season against Mercer (2/11) and again against Florida (5/4).
PRIOR TO FSU:
Ross is ranked 151st by Extra Inning Softball in the 2021 class rankings…throughout high school, Ross saw nothing but success, reaching the state Final Four every season since 2016, including a runner-up finish in 2018 and a State Championship in 2019 with Trinity Christian Academy…in 2019 She was named to the Times-Union All-Decade Team and was also named to the All-First Coast First Team…Ross was also named to the 2019 Miracle Sports 4A All-State First Team…in 2018 and 2017 she was also named to the Times-Union All-First Coast First Team…was a part of the 2017 Miracle Sports 4A All-State Second Team and was selected as a USA Elite Select Futures All-American…in 2016 and 2017 she was a USA Elite Select 30 All-American.
WHY I CHOSE FSU:
“I chose FSU because I love the family-based atmosphere and feeling that you never meet a stranger. I also chose FSU because the entire coaching staff and everyone involved values me beyond softball and will prepare me to succeed in the future after softball. Another plus is that both of my parents attended FSU, so that makes me Nole-blooded.”
PERSONAL:
Daughter to Michele and Gerard Ross… played varsity softball and volleyball in high school… received All-A Honor Roll 2007-21… Received the American Citizenship Award 2017-2020… Received awards for highest average in Honors English (2019), Environmental Science (2019), Honors US History (2019), Honors Algebra II (2018), Honors Geometry (2017)… Ross served as Student Council Vice President 2019-2021 and Student Government Treasurer 2019-2021… member of National Honor Society 2017-2021… father played football at FSU and then in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks and is currently the Assistant Director of High School Relations for FSU football… cousins, Keith Ross and Lamar Lewis played football at FSU… J.C. Flowers (cousin) played baseball at FSU and currently plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates… Alexis Ross (cousin) played softball at FIU and is a sophomore… Ross is majoring in Management… born August 7, 2003.
