Appeared in two games before being sidelined for the rest of the season with an injury…earned his first collegiate at-bat in a win at home over Jacksonville…transferred to Chipola College at the end of the year.

Played four years of baseball and football at Chiles…captain of the baseball team as a senior, while holding that distinction on the football team as a junior and senior…garnered All-Big Bend accolades as a junior in baseball and football and then again as a senior for football…holds 15 offensive school records for the Chiles football team…was named Tallahassee Quarterback Club Offensive Player of the Week…member of the National Honor Society and was a Commended Scholar Graduate at Chiles.
